CLOSURE OF LABUAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND OFFICE PREMISES FROM 18 MARCH-31 MARCH 2020

In line with the announcement by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on the implementation of the Control Movement Order to limit the outbreak of COVID-19, PESB will be closing Labuan International School and its office premises from 18 March 2020 until 31 March 2020.

During this period, academic staff will ensure no interruption to the school’s operation and services, therefore, will continue to provide the following services to the students:-

• Teachers for exam classes (UPSR, Checkpoint, PT3, SPM IGCSE) and Upper Secondary students (Form 4, Year 10), will provide online notes, discussions,quizzes, lessons on Schoology commencing 23/3/2020 (8 am- 4 pm) accordingly.Student’s participation/response will be recorded.

• Teachers for Kindergarten and Lower Primary students (Std/Year 1,2 and 3) will provide notes and resources that can help parents assist their children at home.

• Teachers for Upper Primary and Lower Secondary students (Std/Year 4,5 and Form 1,2,3) will post/update notes daily as well as quizzes for student’s reference and lessons at home.

PESB will closely monitor the current situation and communicate to all parents of any further developments.
