Nurturing Children To Make A Difference

Published Date : 08-Sep-2016

20 successful years have passed and LIS continues to nurture children, mind, body and soul to develop them into well-balanced individuals. Children are always taught to strive for excellence and believe that nothing is impossible.

To appeal across the board, LIS provides national and international curricula at primary and secondary levels. Parents are given choice to ensure that their children are given an education that resonates with 21st Century learning for the world of global communication and opportunities. Before they enter the primary level, children aged five to six are first accepted at the Reception Level, which serves as a feeder school for LIS primary and secondary schools. These children will be given priority compared to those who did not join a feeder school.

The main primary school curriculum at LIS follows the British and Malaysian curriculum as well. The secondary school follows the British curriculum exclusively. At Year 10, students embark on the IGCSE course, culminating in the Cambridge International Examinations which is based in the United Kingdom. Performing Arts also been integrated into each school's curriculum and students can pursue a variety of extra-curricular activities during their time at LIS.
